The villa
An L-shaped villa around a private pool.
Three air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a queen bed and its own bathroom. The master bathroom has a bathtub.
The open hall holds the games, the sofa and the dining tables, with the kitchen at one end. A small Radha Krishna shrine stands at the far end of the pool, and a caretaker lives on site.

All the shared space indoors is one room under dark timber beams: the sofa and the games up front, the dining tables and the kitchen at the far end.

Food
Fresh, homely food.
The caretaker’s family cooks fresh thali packages on site. Food is optional and paid separately from the villa booking. Nandan Villa, in the same estate, serves the same packages.

Good to know
À la carte is available too: Indo-Chinese starters, fried rice and noodles (₹200 to ₹250), pakoras, vada pav, egg dishes, tea and coffee, and veg or non-veg thalis at ₹250 / ₹300.
BBQ on request: the caretaker sets up the charcoal grill for ₹500.
Pre-order at least a day ahead. Food is sufficient but not unlimited. You’re welcome to bring your own food, and restaurants are 30 to 45 minutes away.

Common questions
Can I book Gokul Villa?
Gokul is booked through December 2027. Nandan Villa and Sihra Villa, in the same gated Villa Montana estate, are open. Send us your dates and group size on WhatsApp and we’ll check both.
How many guests can Gokul Villa host?
Up to 15 guests across three air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a queen bed and its own bathroom. Mattresses are provided for guests beyond ten, at ₹500 per person per night.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 1:30 PM and check-out is by 11:30 AM.
Is the pool private?
Yes. The pool and the whole walled compound are for your group alone during your stay. The pool is open from 8 AM to 10 PM.
Are celebrations allowed?
Yes, with prior approval. Loud music late at night and events that disturb the neighbours are not allowed, and outdoor noise must stay down after 11 PM.
Is there a power backup?
Yes. An inverter and a generator back up the villa in a power cut and run the lights and fans. The air conditioners do not run on backup power.
What about meals?
Home-style veg (₹700 per person) and non-veg (₹800 per person) thali packages are cooked by the caretaker’s family. Please order a day ahead. You can also bring your own food, and restaurants are 30 to 45 minutes away.
How do we get there?
Gokul Villa is in the gated Villa Montana estate on the Karjat-Murbad Road, near Vare village. Neral railway station is about 11.5 km away, and Mumbai is about 2 hours by road.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed on the property.
Before you arrive
House rules
Gokul is a family villa in a quiet residential lane. These rules keep it calm for your group and the neighbours.
- Valid photo ID
A valid government photo ID is required for every guest, as local regulation requires.
- In the pool
The pool is open 8 AM to 10 PM. No diving or jumping, and no food, drinks or smoking in the pool.
- Celebrations and quiet hours
Celebrations are possible with prior approval, but loud music late at night and events that disturb the neighbours are not. Keep outdoor noise down after 11 PM.
- Pets
Pets are not allowed on the property.
- Parking
Park only in the designated parking area.
- CCTV and security
CCTV covers the outdoor areas. Please lock doors and windows when you go out.
- Damages
Please report any damage to the manager straight away. A fine may apply.
- Nothing illegal
Nothing illegal under Indian law is permitted anywhere on the property.
